the big picture

the bigger problem of the movie Memoirs of a Geisha is not about Chinese actors/actresses playing Japanese roles; it's about the ACCURACY of the film adaptation.

having read the book first, the movie was a big disappointment. they left out some important scenes from the book. and even got some details wrong and mixed up.
